Info Tool

This tool allows you to call up any information relating to a selected point/ feature on the map.

Pass the arrow cursor over the ‘Info Tool’ button, click once with the left-hand mouse button, when the cursor is moved over the map it will be in the shape of a cross.

Move the cursor over a feature and click once. Any stored information relating to this selected feature will be listed in a blue pop-up window. This, for example, may include a description of the feature. If the information in the pop-up window is underlined this is a ‘hyperlink’ – clicking on it will give further information, for example a photo or a link to a related website.

To close the pop-up window, simply click the cross in its top right-hand corner.
